Vitam-R yeast extract has been produced by the traditional “autolysis”, self-made method since 1925. The yeast opens its cell walls using its own natural enzymes, at mild temperatures of 32°C. These indigestible cell walls are parted from the cell juice by centrifugal force. The cell juice is then reduced to a spreadable paste using a vitamin-saving vacuum.
